Between 1936 when the Trio disbanded and the end of the Second World War, Spivakovsky appeared as soloist in celebrity concerts featuring leading conductors visiting Australia, such as Maurice de Abravanel, Georg Schneevoigt and Sir Malcolm Sargent. By 1945, he had performed with all the great European orchestras and all the great European conductors.
