In 1933 the Trio set sail for their first tour of Australasia. Initially engaged for 60 concerts, the Trio determined to present "as many variations of ourselves as is mathematically possible" from a vast repertoire of solo, duo and trio works. They were hugely popular with the public and critics declared their concerts "ravishingly perfect."
