Spivakovsky returned to Australia for another hugely successful tour in 1929. From The Sydney Mail: "Spivakovsky is a remarkable artist, full of vigour, strength and virility, which are clearly reflected in his playing. It is once more a question of personal magnestism. His interpretations are ever interesting and appealing owing to their sincerity, manly strength, and emotional qualities, which at times reach very high levels. One would not expect from him effeminate playing … for he is just the opposite – very lively, emotional and brilliant."
