Vienna, 1927

In 1927, the famous composer and conductor Richard Strauss requested that Spivakovsky perform his Burleske in D Minor under his baton with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. From a review in the Neues Wiener Journal: "Jascha Spivakovsky played the piano part in the Burleske unusually beautifully and full of life ... the architectural beauty of this piece was discovered for the first time."
