Leonore
Berlin, 1926
During the Adelaide leg of his 1922 tour of Australia, Spivakovsky had autographed the Krantz family concert grand and given a piano lesson to their young daughter, Leonore. The two were reacquainted in 1926, when a British coal strike diverted her family holiday travels away from London to Berlin. Under the pretext of going for a picnic, Spivakovsky and Leonore eloped to Bodenbach (then part of Czechoslovakia) to be married.
