Bach to Brahms

In 1921, Spivakovsky gave a series of historical concerts with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Wilhelm Furtwängler, tracing the development of the concerto from Bach to Brahms. The series was a stellar success and Spivakovsky was engaged for another 40 performances. He became internationally recognised as one of the foremost pianists in the world.
